Eric Painter’s Work with Homeless Ministries

Eric Painter has worked with homeless ministries in his spare in Texas since 2013. Eric has spent several years working with youth ministries and the homeless. He has mentored homeless youths and spread the good word to them in hopes of helping them find their way in the world.

Eric currently works as a Sales Development Representative for a software company. However, when he is not at his day job Eric Painter of Texas is dedicated to building relationships with the homeless and trouble (not all homeless) youths.

Eric spreads God’s word to youths and the homeless, and in one post he wrote- he explains that life is all about perspectives. What may seem horrible today may not seem nearly as bad tomorrow. He teaches this to the youths and homeless people he works with; it gives them hope. Hope, after all, is everything. Without hope, you have nothing.

Eric Painter of Texas helps explain how homeless ministries can make a big difference in a homeless person’s life. The ministry’s mission is to help meet the homeless physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs to God’s glory. In other words, you do whatever you can to make that person’s (s) life better and to make them feel love and acceptance.

It’s not only about providing shelter, food, and clothing. It’s about meeting all their needs, especially what’s hidden inside of them. The things no one dares to ask about are the things they should be focusing on. It’s okay to ask a homeless person how they became homeless. It may be painful for them to talk about, but it also allows them to see their situation from a new perspective and begin healing to start over.

Eric Painter of Texas has done a lot of good things for troubled youths and the homeless throughout his adult life and continues to and will most likely always mentor, drop off supplies, donate time, money, or just be around to listen.

Working with the homeless and troubled youths is challenging but rewarding to know you have helped or made a difference in someone’s life, even if it was only a small difference.

Eric is also focusing on his career as a sales development representative for a software company. He is immensely proud of the work he does and loves his career. Eric Painter grew up in a loving home surrounded by a large family. Which he often attributes to how successful of a man and employee he is today. There is a lot to be said about being surrounded by people who love and support you and listen when you need an ear. That upbringing allowed him to transition into his role at the homeless ministries easily.
